Big stack of shredded coconut hulls. Not sure
what they use this stuff for; Probably for
fuel or something.
A young missionary (the one with hair) showing
Elder Peck a deep water well used by the
people of this village. The well is about 30-40 ft. deep

Look at the surrounding vegetation. This little
family of seven kids truly lives "in the bush" in
the Philippines. They love to have their pictures
taken. Their huts are scattered throughout
the forest.

This is the dish washing mode. She is on a dirt
floor, down on her haunches. This is Francisco's
wife.

Typical Cebu poor man's kitchen. No running water.
Open fires. Surprised they don't burn their huts
down. This, too, is Francisco's house.

Winding, muddy path to Francisco and his
neighborhood friends. This path gets washed
away and they have to make new stairs.
Continued path to Francisco's neighborhood.
Remember he carries his bike on his back
through this area. He is the guy with one leg.
This boy is getting water from a hole dug in the
rocks beside stream.
Path to Francisco's house continues. That would
be Sister Peck getting ready to leap.

Tailor on the side of the highway enroute to Bogo.
The old treadle machine is rusty and way old.
